Bamboocha bar has been built in the year 2007 when Miljen Chovan started his idea of building a beach party bar. In the whole south Dalmatia, instead of thousands beach bars that are opened all night with entertainment for tourists, there are just few of them... Althought, local government does not support any tourist activity for the young people.

After 2 seasons organizing great parties in Bamboocha, Miljen decided to sell the bar, because he couldn't fulfill his dream about the it: to make the biggest party place.

New owner promised to continue with that dream and to invest more money into swimming pools for the pool party and closing the terrace for the winter work. But he did'n do anything, so now, Bamboocha is emtpy place with no parties, just with memories in the photo album. :(

Croatian shame is that we are telling to the world that we are touristic country, but if you come, you will see all beach bars closed at 24h, as demanded from the local government!
